Posted - 05/03/2014 : 14:16:09 This might be more fashion related that athletics, but be forewarned-a rant will be forthcoming. The Tampa Bay Bucs revealed their new uniforms. I hate the NIKE/NFL visual abortions that are passed off as new uniforms. NIKE is the leader of the pack of the multinational corporations that are making sports uniforms nothing more that moving billboards of anything to get teenagers to buy your hip-hop wannabe new age junk. I despise them and the Division one colleges (Oregon, Maryland...) who have sold their soul in an effort to appeal to $$$$ above all else. They are nothing better than generic computer-age slop.
Sorry....I feel better now.

Posted - 22/01/2014 : 19:31:41 Brady is always a gracious loser...he wins so often, what is remarkable is that when he does lose, he does it with aplomb. So many injured Pats players this year. I'm surprised they played as well as they did. I thought Indy would beat the Pats. A friend was at the game ... what a lasting memory...four rushing touchdowns by Blount!
I'm hoping the Broncos will run all over Seattle...I dislike them so much, mostly because of their coach--the shady Pete Carroll. Go Manning! If he wins he'll be the first to win a Superbowl for two different teams. Seahawks Richard Sherman's disgraceful behavior after their win over SF only makes me hate them more; especially when Carroll defends such poor sportsmanship.

Posted - 20/01/2014 : 15:05:10 Brady did just not have enough weapons to match the Broncos. Perhaps he was still feeling the effects of illness during the week, as he uncharacteristically was overthrowing the ball. Importantly, Brady conducted himself in a professional and respectful manner in this losing effort. The Red Sox are champions and no one, outside of Boston fans, wanted to see another Boston championship. |

Posted - 30/11/2013 : 18:59:31 If we get into the technical aspects, both games were lost by the Pats due to ONE: a penalty call the has never before or since been applied to a ny game... TWO: a no-call holding call that gave the game to the Ravens.
But no matter, the Pats shot themselves in the foot and giving Brady a hell of a time adjusting to what amounts to as a total rebuilding of Brady's receiving core. Not easy for any QB.

Posted - 30/11/2013 : 16:02:51 Yeah I can't figure that one out either.Or the Bengals game.Losing to a team that only scored 13 points with just about the all time greatest coach/QB combo on your side? You kidding me?Also,I didn't see all of the Carolina game, but I understand they may have shot themselves in the foot with that one, too.Could we easily be talking 11-0 here?Seems like it..................... |

Posted - 26/11/2013 : 18:41:08 Brady always finds a way and proves he may be more clutch than Manning--Brady 10 games against Manning, to Manning winning 4 against the Pats.
Oh yeah.
