...and a crazy new official soccer ball that seems to have a mind of it's own.
What a time to test drive a new ball design!!

Posted - 07/07/2010 : 14:29:44 Well well so it's the Dutch and either the Germans or the Spanish in the final. I know the Orange are happy! |

Posted - 28/06/2010 : 14:29:42 sorry ..those refs, eh? That "n0-goal" could've had implications on the match...Those Germans started to crack a bit at one point.. see y'all in 4 years.... |

Just not quite there today. But hey we know that the good performances make up for the off days or we wouldn't be here.
At least it's another common link across the North Atlantic.
Meanwhile Glasto on telly continues to live up to expectations and more.

Posted - 28/06/2010 : 00:15:44 Bummer! We never seem to be able to beat Germany when it really matters.
Still Germany against Argentina will make a great quarter final in Cape Town next weekend....and so there is no anger, no bitterness. I'm heading off to Holland tomorrow and will be landing in Amsterdam just as the Netherlands kick off against Slovakia...and so I am now tipping the Dutch as dark horses for the trophy. |

Posted - 27/06/2010 : 00:15:05 Hard luck, America.....you fought really well against Ghana. I confidently predict that the USA will actually lift the trophy within my own lifetime. I'm really looking forward to England's clash with Germany tomorrow. I just hope that all our supporters are able to honour and respect both countries. |

Posted - 22/06/2010 : 00:25:17 That's a good one, Rocker! Tyburn tree stood at the present site of Marble Arch. I somehow feel that we'll get it together against Slovenia on Wednesday......but if we don't, I can see there having to be another general election! |

Posted - 14/06/2010 : 20:02:36 I'm going to summarise the world cup in song titles.
A former colleague spotted the headline: tainted glove
and decided he could do better: you give glove a bad name
or: people of the world join hands watch the glove pain, glove pain
any advance?
