Just had a letter from Shrewsbury Music Hall (dated 30th June) stating that "We have, therefore, reluctantly taken the desision to cancel this performance"

I understand that this is because the gig was scheduled for the same date as Live 8 - as soon as Live 8 was announced, ticket sales dried up! Sad but shouldn't effect the rest of the tour.
Hope to see folks at Stourbridge tonight. |

Shrewsbury Music Hall told me it was due to 'Arthur still being in the United States'.
Not only that, Stourbridge Rock Cafe tell me that the gig tonight will be Love WITHOUT Arthur
It is unclear whether Johnny will be playing - I don't see why not.
Let's go support what is still a fantastic band
And all the very best wishes to Arthur - please come back soon

Love without Arthur Lee sounds great to me. The band are always fantastic, it's generally Arthur that can make the show less than enjoyable. If it's Mike, Rusty, Dave Chapple & Dave Green with Johnny, then I'm really looking forward to the London show next week. |

We went to the Stourbridge gig and were NOT disappointed
Worth every penny - a really good night - great to see Mr Echols again too - the whole thing produced a warm glow that shows no sign of wearing off yet
Don't miss this band!

I'm hoping that Arthur has checked himself into a rehab and is truly trying to get past this demon of his. I have seen the band carry him and have no doubt that you are all in for a treat. May be an even better show without Arthur. Rusty can handle Arthur's end and Mike and Johnny just rip on the guitar. And then Dave Chapple and Daddy-o. What could be better? Hopefully next time you see Arthur with these guys, he'll have his "illness" behind him and his true talent will be back for all to see. If he doesn't get better, the band is truly better off without him. Cheryl
