Note-sorry about those bad links here, earlier, but it is all fixed now, guys!!!

This record label site has a whole bunch of great artists.
The label is Blue Rose and the stand out artist is Iain Matthews!
But there are a huge number of great artists here, in the country rock, folk, etc tradition, like Iain....AND MORE GENRES TOO.

But even better, they offer free mp3 downloads of many of the
artists... FULL ALBUM DOWNLOADS offered for free! Very cool
and very smart!

So explore and enjoy!!

Scroll down to the band Ol' Yeller...a great band with a
fantastic smooth pedal steel guy-Mike Johnson. You can get the whole album
here with cover art too.

They do some great covers...including Illegal Smile, She Darked The Sun (Gene Clark), Train Leaves Here This Morning (Clark)....great taste here by them....AND TRY THIS--"IN GOD'S COUNTRY" WITH A PEDAL STEEL....PRETTY COOL....

Here are a couple mp3s to make it easy...then go back and get
the rest!

I read that Plainsong did a reunion tour in the UK in 2003...
anyone see them?
They also released a live album of the tour! There is info at the Blue Rose site...and more free downloads!

Catch some of these from ELIOTT MURPHY...he made a huge comeback when he teamed with Iain Matthews in 2001 for a fantastic album.

....anyone know this great artist that had his first release
in 1973 ...called album of the year by many.

He is still going strong.

Brilliant song that reminds me a bit of Lou Reed
in his quieter moments...

"Small Room"....a great reflective tune about art, love, murder
and...love.
