Last night i had the chance and the luck to see a musician and a personality
that i believe to be the most influential at least according to my
opinion.I'm sure you know to whom i refer.
The concert took place in some old warehouse where the acoustics are really
inappropriate for musical events.The names that where announced were the one of LOVE and of Porcupine Tree but at around 8.45 an unknown group
started the concert playing music which would like to be like amateur porcupine
tree with influences from the 80s.They played for 30 min and after 20 min we saw
Love getting on stage and after a little while THE MAN HIMSELF Arthur Lee.
The set began with 7+7 is and then My little red book and orange skies.The
acoustics in general and the sound that love had was not good and both the people and the band were sort of numb but then Arthur Lee performed
Your mind and we and some magic started floating in the air along with some tears in my eyes.
In general the people loved Arthur's performance and his personality was adored
by the people at the concert.Arthur sung for his freedom on stage he looked like
he had half his years in age.The crowd would not let him leave after his first
encore where he presented his well tuned band but he said he had to leave
because of the other band that had to begin.Anyway he promised that he 'll visit
us again which is something that we 'd love to see.
After that it was the time for porcupine tree to present their set which showed
a professional band of higly trained musicians and with many interesting songs.
The sound they had was quite good which could mean that the sound of love was
intented to be bad so that porcupine tree would be the stars.
Anyway Love & Arthur Lee gave us a night to remember giving us the chance to
listen to songs that time cannot ever make people forget.
