Yes, there was a while there, where Rod was the no.2 lead singer of a rock and roll band, of course second to Jagger and The Stones. But you're right , as it all faded after a while, but I still like him.

Dan could really rock, though his fans wouldn't let him go too far reflected in album sales on those harder rocking LPs ....listen to Fogelberg's searing guitar solo....rocks it!

Yes...from a rather less appreciated Stones LP (we like!)--Between The Buttons.

Ruby Tuesday and Lets Spend the Night Together were the hits. But this is an album that I always want available to listen to, meaning I never tire of it.

My UK copy doesn't have Ruby Tuesday OR Let's Spend The Night Together...hence my reference to NO Hits on that LP! Of course that is the norm on the UK albums...no single/hits allowed on the LPS!! It was understood & followed by the industry that the buyer should not have to buy the same song twice: the single and the single never repeated on the subsequent LP--I forgot that.

Aurora covering Imagine Dragons Beliver on "Christine" (a norwegian
hit based radio program that plays a lot of top 20 material) a few days ago.

The artist have to play a cover and one of their own. When Aurora was asked why she chose Belivers she said she wanted to cover some contemporary music. But since she almost without exceptions listens to old music she googled the playlist of the program and loved the band name Imagine Dragons She heard Beliver and liked the lyrics.

The original:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wtfhZwyrcc

Auroras version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucY21wLJhOo
