Just saw the Iceworld video on eBay (item 370362875304 if interested) and it made me wonder..
Did this video ever come out in American NTSC vhs format (officially)
Also, didn't Love Story come out as a promotional video with interviews with the head of Rhino and "Your mind and we" on video as part of the press package?
I wonder how many of us here in the States have Garth Holt to thank for our first exposure to the Iceworld Video
Now of course its everywhere. On Youtube, on dvd extras on a live Love disc (as I think I do on a UK gig on dvd, might just be the Bandstand performance.. I forget!)
Christ, I even posted a video response of me covering "Somebodys watching you" to a performance off it ("Say you will") that seems to have been cowritten with a Hendrix (Leon); sadly "Say you will" sounds like it was written in 5 minutes flat!
Who would've thought in the late 90s you could find video wherever you go. Does anyone even MAKE videos anymore, let alone dub them for other people?!
