A review -- the third of their first gigs since the pandemic. The latest was at an Oktoberfest celebration at a brewery in San Luis Obispo...
"Mike, Rusty, Johnny & the guys were excellent, as always. New bass player is a perfect fit, to my ears. Keyboards were solid, but maybe a bit low in the mix for me to comment on, overall. Played all of both Da Capo and Forever Changes to an audience that was for the most part, far too young to have a clue about Love.
That said, I'm certain they won at least a few fans with their set; killer material, played by a killer band at the top of their game. Mike, Rusty, and Johnny are all really good guys, and I always appreciate the fact that they actually do remember me, know who I am, and acknowledge me. Cool guys, all around." -RW
Sad news: Chappie is out as bass player. Sadly he refused to get vaxxed. The band needed to be fully vaxxed to play the gigs that require everyone to be vaxxed--something that California has enacted. Thank god!
Mike [Randle] said Chappie's far right conspiracy crap was hard to take; though still not a deal breaker. But his anti-vax stance made it impossible for him to continue as the bassist for Love Revisited. Especially since they are planning a new UK tour!...and UK requires all visitors to be vaxxed.
Oh and Mike told me about the talented new keyboard player -- who adds great new dimension to the band! Both the bassist and keyboard player are in their 20's but huge Love fans and knew all the songs, so they fit in right off. And as Mike related, both are fantastic musicians

Got my tickets for the 3 nights in London and a ticket for Bristol.

I'm hoping to do a little tour of my own!
Bristol, Southampton, Brighton and London (x3). Just hoping to be back in the UK during this time.

Next best thing for me is that a good friend here who was at the lat e October show is sending me a full live recording of the Oktoberfest celebration at the San Luis Obispo Brewery...
