Posted - 15/03/2011 : 23:41:44 Hats off to Leon Russell ,and he did wear quite a top hat, inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. Leon has arthritic knees and uses a cane, luckily he plays sitting down. You won't see him get up and leave and come back for an encore. He stays put , but still does the encore. |

Posted - 24/03/2011 : 15:00:15 I was just watching George Harrison's "Concert for Bangladesh". Leon was great with "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Youngblood". Is the "Carney" album as good as I hear? Is this the one with "Tightwire" or "Highwire" or something like that. I know I've heard the tune on classic rock radio.(WZLX 100.7 in Boston if you're ever in town) |
